Join us for HODN's June 6th Monthly Meeting:

Cross-cultural corporate training is prevalent, but often dreaded. Too frequently, this type of training is paternalistic, focusing on the moral, legal, and ethical reasons that employees ought to be more tolerant of diversity. Industrial-organizational psychologist, David M. Campbell has developed an interactive activity that makes this education more engaging and more fun for the participants, while also discussing issues such as race, gender, bias, and discrimination. Join us at the HODN June 6th meeting where Dr. Alex Milam, Associate Professor in Industrial-Organizational Psychology at the University of Houston - Clear Lake, will facilitate a hands-on experience of the David Campbell Cross Cultural Training activity, which will be followed by a discussion of its utility as a training tool in cross-cultural corporate training.
