Consulting Skills and the HODN Consulting Skills Certification Program   

Consulting skills are just as important as OD expertise when it comes to effectively impacting the people and organizations we serve.  Whether you are an internal or an external consultant, the quality by which we engage and consult with our clients can often determine our success. 

Most of our monthly meetings focus on ‘what’ OD professionals do, e.g. tools, instruments, methodologies and conceptual frameworks.  This month’s HODN program will be different. Our aim is to focus on ‘how’ we do our work and the underlying values that differentiate OD professionals from other consultants. 

Speaker: Greg Parker, HODN Board Member and Founder of Parlyle Consulting.

Greg, an HODN Board member, and Founder of Parlyle Consulting is a former Sr. Director of Organization Effectiveness at AIG and a former leader of Shell’s Change Management global practice.  Greg has lived and worked on five continents and consulted with clients in over 40 countries.  He will facilitate our exploration of these skills and will introduce us to our Consulting Skills Certification Program.
